I did not take offense to the “naïve” reference. 

 

For it has become clear to me that all of human understanding, at its very best, is currently quite trivial in the overall scheme of things.

Labeling any assumption (postulate) as "naive" is using name calling the other person as childlike or stupid. This is poor science. It is trying to support your model by intimidation rather than observation.

The Hodge Experiment of photon diffraction is still an experiment that must be explained by a model. I know it is redical an ignored but it still an observation. In the long term it must be accounted.
