With stationary CTF, SR becomes totally unnecessary. The two postulates of SR naturally falls out of the stationary CTF. I am attaching an essay, where I have explained this and I am also pushing for an experiment to validate the stationarity of CTF (in case, if you have missed it).

I agree with all that you say below.
In particular I feel we need to be very clear that 'field bosons' are a convenient fiction - what someone I knew would refer to as an 'architectural rendering' (a construct to fill-in a conceptual gap left by an effect without in any way explaining it - demonstrating a total lack of understanding of that effect); I'd liken them to the Emperor's new clothes - covering nothing at all.  Once we see particles as closed-loop excitations (as you say), it's abundantly clear that such excitations do not have an abrupt cut-off boundary but extend indefinitely in such a tension field (like the rings emanating from a point in a lake where a pebble has been dropped in); as soon as we see that, it follows as night follows day that inter-particle forces are in fact interference effects between non-linear waveforms - no need for manufactured 'explanations' for so-called 'action at a distance'.

I believe we really are getting somewhere!
(I need to read that paper of yours in detail.)

     To me, CTF, as a tension field, holds 100% of the cosmic energy. Everything else is its “excitations”, or “deformations”!
     Particles are self-looped excitations, functionally non-linear, as they do not in general pass through each other, rather interact with wide ranges of interaction cross-sections.
     EM waves are perpetually propagating excitations. They are non-interacting linear excitations. They pass through each other.
     Forces are secondary potential gradients generated by the various self-looped oscillations around themselves. “Forces’ are not due to “exchange particles”! They “fall towards” or “repelled by” the various potential gradients generated by themselves.
     All particle-properties are emergent properties out of their complex formative internal motions of CTF-tension characteristics. Recall that a Gamma wave packet (no charge or mass) can collide with heavy nucleus and generate electron-positron pair with opposite charges and some inertia (“mass”). Gamma is a linear high frequency undulation of the CTF. So, charge and mass must be some emergent properties out of the dynamic motions of the CTF.
     I have attached my thinking on CTF during 2013.
     CTF guides us to model natural phenomena much more coherently than the current ad hoc theories.
