[General] Charge field divergent?

Chip:I think the + & - charges are divergent - You think they are convergent. Both cases suggest the coulomb streanlines should be straight out from the electron & positron. How can this model be tested? such that the traditional source / sink (divergent / convergent)  model like that for a magnetic N & S pole (the long varing slope of the iron filings) is rejected?I've thought of a spark gap with an insulator between the pole (see Fig I know technique needs improvement). The plasma is as normal from the + pole. the - pole seems to have a straight slope  as we predict. Is this plasma following a coulomb field streamline?  Hodge

And that space consists of two components.  If one of these components is converging toward (slightly displaced toward) the center of a particle the charge on that particle is positive, if the other component is convergent the charge is negative.  I have this opinion because the properties of the electron and positron are apparently identical except for charge.  Chip  From: General [mailto:general-bounces+chipakins=gmail.com at lists.natureoflightandparticles.org] On Behalf Of Hodge John

Subject: [General] Charge field divergent?  Chip:You mentioned you think the charge field is divergent. Is both pos. and neg. divergent (sources) (with different types), or is one divergent (source) and the other convergent (sink) (of the same type)?Hodge
